Time for a Blu-ray?
Was there a kaboom, an earth-shattering kaboom?
I hate when things like that happen. Usually just when you're sitting down to watch something. At least you can now get the latest tech.
This is not a DVD player related comment, so apologies if it's inappropriate, but I'm pretty sure I just read the review of your shuffleathon CD and am quite excited by it!
The Four Seasons 'Who Loves You' was the first LP (LP, not album!)I ever bought with my own money and
'I Want You' is (usually) my all time favourite Elvis Costello track ... 'The Carnival Is Over' and 'Northern Lights' are both on my 'songs I don't have but want list!
'Northern Lights reminds me of Parbold Ridge and Leeds bus station ... maybe I need to clear off and write a post of my own about it instead of cluttering up your comments?
Anyway - just wanted to share - think what would've happened if I'd actually heard the CD!!!

threelight: There was. The curtains caught fire. Jennifer was trapped in a blazing living room. I had to shoot out the windows with my sub machine gun, leap through the broken glass and rescue her.
Something like that.
dragonzar: Indeed. I was just about the fire up the Gérard Depardieu film "The Singer" when it happened. I did manage to retrieve it.
